I hope this is all right - I searched, but only saw a couple of CO threads about beta keys, etc.

How many of us play Champions Online? I've been playing it since about a fortnight after it opened, and am really enjoying it. It's not polished at all, and there's an annoying number of bugs, very frequent emergency maintenance and downtimes, but the dev staff seem to try and get to everything as fast as they can, and it's such an unusual game it's really enjoyable.

If you haven't tried it, aside from the more CoH/CoV type setting, you have ultimate control over all of your powers - there are no classes - and can create almost anything in the character creator. It's definitely 'freeing', although as a newbie it's pretty easy to horribly break your character with awful powers and stats.

Anyone else playing it?

I haven't logged in for a couple of weeks. I got to level 36ish and got a bit bored. I'll be away when they have their Blood Moon event which is a shame, but hopefully I'll pick it up again when I get back.

You can play this for free this weekend only on Steam - just look in your games list. Nice idea, especially tying in with the Blood Moon event.
