Cities XL

I am really interested in this game as a big fan of the Sim City series this looks fantastic and impressive to me. Problem is I have saw no reviews at all which is worrying. I know there was a demo/beta running throughout September which I unfortunately missed but has anyone got the game or more likely played the demo.

I would really like to hear opinions before throwing £25 at it (Especially since I have gotten a ton of games recently)

Would also be interested if anyone has first hand info on Cities XL...confused about the monthly subscription details, can you play the single player version without having to pay a monthly addition for game content that's essential for playability.

Re: Cities XL

This also caught my eye way back when the first videos came out but after reading what most have said about the beta/demo stay well clear. Have a look at this link then look at places like Gamestop for the user comments and they are all the same.
SAMIZDAT: Cities-XL: product review. If you like SimCity, you'll hate Cities-XL
