+1 to that ..... that intro was immense......
They play pretty good as far as I am concerned.
A lot of the enjoyment is upgrading your mechs and weapons.
However, from what I can remember the missions were pretty good. I think the big difference this time round from this video is the level of detail.
One complaint has been that the games always were kind of bare with little cover, this looks like it could change that.
I only used to play singleplayer. Mulitplayer wasn't that good really, everyone just decked out with the biggest mech and biggest guns, no real strategy. You would all pile into the central area and have 6 guass cannon shots hit your cockpit and die.
A joystick is required though, especially one with a Z axis so you can move your upper body independantly, one of the great skills was strafing round, while keeping your upper body on your target.
