September08 - Adventure

Having not entered for a few months now, I made an effort.

If you can call it that!

I was at a local trial taking pics, (not riding due to back injury), when I had a cunning plan. Unfortunately when I was taking pics of the little 'un, schoolboy error struck. Iso 1600 (crap light in a forest, definately need to get some advice on shooting in these conditions)

Anyway, excuses aside, I still like the outcome.

pp - level adjustments to try and calm the light in the sky down a bit, brought up the greens and added a border

Camera: Canon EOS 20D
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/1.8
Focal Length: 50 mm
ISO Speed: 1600
Exposure Bias: 1/3 EV

Cheers

Alun

Re: The next adventure

His little all in one suit is awesome and his posture actually suggests hes thinking about how to tackle the hill ahead.

Really like this picture!

Re: The next adventure

Yep, like this one as well.

As kluen said, it really does look like he is going to climb the hill. Nicely done.

Camera was on the ground

Pretty resilient to mud these Canons, unlike my trousers which were filthy!

Re: The next adventure

This shot reminds me of Superman (the Movie) where the Kent's discover the huge crater, and through the smoke, fire and carnage, is a little boy who slowy stands up......

No?
