December 2005 Winner - Light and Dark

Hi,
My first competeition entry, so go easy on me!
Light and Dark on Tentsmuir Beach, near St Andrews, Fife. The light was changing by the second. Thank goodness for digital!

Superb ..

After I'd looked at it for a while it took on a second guise - check out the way the sun's rays come down, and the shape of the darkest part of the sky ... now you have an ace photo of the take-off of a flying saucer from directly below!

Thank you all for your kind words and votes for my picture.
I am delighted to have won.
I often feel my photography is under appreciated (my wife only likes pictures of the kids!). But now I have new confidence and enthusiuasm.
