April 2005 Competition Winner - Theme 'Tired'

This was the original shot I have been after since day 1 of competition. Have driven past this 1600E dozens of time, but for all this month the owner parked his white van in front.

Anyway today the sun was out, so I popped down on the off chance & white van man was out

Taken with Canon 300D. Shot has been cropped, converted to B&W & then Shadow / Highlights played with for more punch.

Shame such a classic car is left to rust like this.....& yes I did drive one around many moons ago

Like it you really have given it some "oomph" with the shadows/highlights and its incredibly crisp! feel kinda sad for the thing!

its a right knackered heap that one! Nice idea, and well processed, but not quiet as good as a couple of others for me though
