Here's my attempt this month!

Bit of cropping, slight boost in saturation and clarity.

A marble was sacrificed to the mighty hammer later on (see results in my flickr stream) but none of the images grabbed me like this one.

Lighting was provided by a head torch!

They are pretty indestructible! I dented one of the wooden chairs in the kitchen before realising I should probably do this sort of thing in the garden!

How they get the colour in is still a mystery though

I know what you mean, but it took me ages to find any marbles! I had some vague childhood memory of toy shops having pots and pots of different marbles.......not any more.

I like this one a lot - the use of depth of field to put the large yellow marble slightly out of focus really appealed to me.
