Re: The "its not valid but I'll show it anyway" thread
So what's stopping you from taking another like it, or better?
I love these moving water shots, and voted for allymac's similar shot in last months comp.

Re: The "its not valid but I'll show it anyway" thread
Agree - go do it again - it would suit the comp very well, but if you can position yourself a bit more to the left so we can see the water going over that fall which is just cropped out. Maybe a longer shutter speed as well to make it even more soft...

Re: The "its not valid but I'll show it anyway" thread
I thought about using this one (as he is as soft as they come!)
and seeing as this idea has already been used....

Re: The "its not valid but I'll show it anyway" thread
I took this photo last month of a growth on the mooring line of a boat I was diving off.
I was hanging around at 5m giving my body a chance to off-gas all the nitrogen before surfacing.
Must be some sort of sea plant.

Re: The "its not valid but I'll show it anyway" thread
Now that M-C-P-M has entered his image (Soft Focus), do people think it's ok for me to post a picture I took last night on a similar theme (Soft focus of some text) in this thread? I don't want to post if someone has had a similar idea and still intends to enter it.
Cheers.

Re: The "its not valid but I'll show it anyway" thread
I was bouncing several ideas around this month, one of which came close to being used, but I changed my mind - it was perhaps a bit too silly, and not really photographically interesting for my liking.
I won't post the image here (in case anyone else has a similar idea for their entry), but I'll link to the Flikr page... " Soft (Toy) Porn" (tasteless maybe, but safe for work )
