Over The Edge panic first entry!

Eek! - I thought I had this weekend to squeeze my first entry into this competition, but saw the post that today is the last day for entries so had to put something in!

I've been hawking the forums for a couple of months, which helped me choose my Canon 350d and additional sigma 70-300 APO macro lense, and now i'm hooked!

I had grand plans for this theme of capturing a snail crawling over a razors edge (and am reliably informed that no animals would be harmed during the process!), but it proved too hard to find a razor, and by that time lots of people had entered 'knife-edge' interpretations. Lucky snails i say!

So, in a bid to still be different I offer this. Snapped in my lunch hour today at work. I like Joust because it works on a few more lines - 'Over the edge, of his horse, of the barrier between them, of the energy involved in a joust, etc... So I would like to enter 'Joust' for this month's competition... (is that all I have to do to enter??)

The slightest amount of red (about 1%) pulled in photoshop after since the lights were horrible pinspots. - I don't know how to do this exif thing yet, but can email the original...

ps - i'm looking for a 60mm EF-S canon macro if anyone has one going, or knows where I could get one cheap too!

If I were you I would remove the other image from the post as it could cause confusion. You can always post it in the regular section of the forum
