Some great shots here already

I think I'm going to struggle with this theme. Not much in the way of industrial buildings in my neck of the woods, so I'll have to think outside the box, again...

Old industrial copper mine

Taken in the copper mine last year at Beddgelert, Wales.

I hope to be passing Shell refinery at Stanlow on Sunday so maybe a good pic from there.

Thanks. It was a quick shot, as for some unknown reason I wanted to get that seagull in the shot as well.

Industrial might not be the most common thing I shoot. But I have this one example from my earlier works.

That's a great shot Miranda. I like the dark atmospheric feel it has to it.

Another one from the Glasgow Transport Museum. I liked the wee face at the bottom.

Facit mill

Situated in the heart of the rossendale valley, not seen any action since the early sixties ,it is being demolished at the end of this week . ...I tried to capture as much of the character of the building as possible in a tight frame and the feel of the mill on it's way down with a lot of emphasise on the name of the mill

Excellent shots. For a second I was wondering where the first shot was taken, and then I noticed the armadillo in the background.

...I think that all you can do is select one of the standard Flickr sizes it generates when you upload and then if the size of that is larger than the forum allows the forum will resize to meet the forum max dimensions - sometimes with dire effect on sharpness...

The remains of a old industrial mill ,basicaly yards from my home ,i have done a creative version of this as i have posted the origanal in colour , i did not think that a conversion would work due to the expanse of colour in the shot but curiosity got the better of me and i quite like the effect ,cokld be a back up for me if i don't find another subject for the comp.
