Excellent entries by everyone this month, and it was difficult to choose which one stood out for me... I had to get vote from the family and we all thought that Tinywerz's entry was the one that we liked the best. So that is what I voted for .. honourable mentions also go to Vigmandingo, richardhurst, Keith Hurst and den9112..

Butch 499 for me. And I also liked Vigmandingo's entry and a few others. This just goes to show how differently we all think about the themes. Let's see what next month brings Good luck for this one, all.

edit. Too bad johnalan was added only after I cast my vote, that would've been a serious contender.

Butch, Cruncher, Andy C47 - All of them worthy of note to me and difficult to make a decision on. Having reviewed the thumbnails, went for DanL. The colours and particularly the movement shown in the shot, finally won me over.
Looking forward to ext month already!!

I liked most of the entries this month, it was a good theme.
However I was not necessarily preferring the 'rainbow' colour spectrum shots; colour can have a big impact when monochromatic. That's how I see Miranda's shot, so nice, especially when viewed in a black framed lightbox. But in the end I voted for trailer. This is a fabulous, unique and colourful moment captured for posterity on camera, whereas many of the still life shots could be reproduced 'on demand' if you get my drift.
Well thats my 2 cents. Thanks for entering the comp. Look forward to what's coming up next time.
Cheers!

For me it has to be aeromans understated 'Paper Curls'. Clever, simple and effective. I'm going to add that Vigmandingo could have swung it for me if he had put as much effort into the PP as he did the capture. The shot for me is let down by the balance between the red and yellow pepper, the yellow is far too punchy next to the dull flat red pepper. sorry..
But that aside, a great collection of work from all who entered this month.

Finally a huge thank you to Calvin, Bob and Delvey for the votes. I'm well chuffed to say the least.

Superb set of entries this month, well done to all contributors.

My vote went to Vigmandingo, novel set up to get the capture.

Lots of others had gone to great lengths to get their captures, which made this a particularly good competition.

Now, how do I find time to learn what my new camera can do in time for next month???

I knew I should have tried HDR in my usual over zealous processing

Vigmandingo for me, for the very reason that it is not obviously artificially processed to make the colours something unnatural. It is just a well thought out well executed shot of colourful objects with a 'splash' of action. A nice photograph and right on theme. Wish it luck.

Have to go for Vigmandingo, it's a cracker of a shot

Honourable mentions to johnalan for what looks like an explosion of colour in the bangles, Jim for some good CD work, Sheepking for a beautifully composed entry and Tinywerz again for the composition... the off centre composition on a classic shot

All in all yet another good month. As always looking forward to the next one.

Another great set of entries this month made choosing really difficult but in the end Cruncher75 just pipped Sheepking for me

Loads of others really appealed to me including Vigmandinmgo, GaseousClay, Richardhurst, Bagger, Tinywerz, Danl and Miranda

Thanks to those who voted for me or gave my entry a mention - much appreciated

Can't wait to hear what the next Theme is

Jim
