Octobers Comp came down to the wire with both Mark.Carline's and ZingyLemonade's entries both finishing with 21 votes apiece

As there can only be one winner, a decision had to be made with Mark taking the honours, better luck next time to Zingy and a huge well done to all who entered what was an interesting theme

Hope you like the theme! If anyone does cook anything and then takes a picture of it for this months competition then please also free free to include a recipe (or a link to it) of what you cooked (not compulsary but maybe if theres another draw this could be a bonus point maybe!).

Congrats on the win mark. I'm glad I voted for you now cause that's a cracking theme for me. Combines my two hobbies, photography and cooking. Time to get thinking about this one.

I'm hoping to see some really creative ideas again this month. Seeing what we can do with "plastic forks" as a theme, "dinner time" should inspire some excellent ideas!

FWIW, I think this months comp is somewhat lacking. Maybe 3 (at a push) fall into the category that could be reasonably interpreted from the theme, but it's down to the individual at the end of the day.

Some interesting interpretations, but if you put any of the posted images in front of a panel of lay-persons and ask 'what does this image represent to you', would you get the theme title as the answer? I suspect not.

Thank goodness that peeps are happy to part with their hard earned on Fotolia . . . makes me smile I suspect my ol' pal Bodoman will walk away with the prize on this occasion for a pretty well set-up interpretation of the theme, but overall the standard isn't great.

I probably fall into the category of 'last ditch effort', but even so, the standard IMHO isn't as high as seen in previous comps on this forum, which is a crying shame.

I'm drunk (it's a pain killer), moving house (stressed out), disabled (swing the light and pull up a sandbag), and I care not a jot (sue me).

Zonemeister . . . you are a star . . . I thank you for all your efforts for making this comp possible, and if you find these words objectionable . . hit the delete button!
