Re: Simply a Fork

Weill I guess this is taking the extreme approach to simplicity - a single white fork against a black background. While I'm glad you tried it, but I'm not sure it worked for me. Perhaps it needs to be made a bit more interesting, as the fork is pretty close to centre and in a straight line and there is a lot of black space. I would have liked to have seen some interesting angles.

True what you say. Though it wouldn't have been 'Simply a Fork' if I'd gone for angles etc and trying to come up with a title would have been the hard bit.
Thanks for commenting, Mark.

Re: Simply a Fork

I like this for its simplicity and the way it actually looks sprayed on.

Re: Simply a Fork

Hmmm... not sure I agree that simply changing the angle would have detracted from your title - and of course as Mark implied you could even have simply moved the fork a little more off-centre perhaps if you wanted to keep the orientation to allow your clever DOF effect - which I like and am jealous of as I've only got a Superzoom Bridge (Fuji S9600) in digital at the moment.....

..great to see more entrants and I'm really loving the variety so far

LOL - not at all - this is only my second time entering and the first thing I've noticed (apart from how much better most other entries are than mine that is ) is that the picture I see on my screen just as I click the "submit" button somehow never looks quite the same when viewed online and it's too late to change it

And everyone is pretty helpful with their feedback so I learn something each time too

Re: Simply a Fork

Simple idea, but for me I think that maybe just too much of the handle is OOF.
