Forks at the ready.

Not sure about this shot, I like it but think it's pretty boring. I have been trying to do a zen garden type shot and I just can't seem to get it quite right, so this will have to do-

Aperture: f/11.0
Focal Length: 35 mm

Pretty Nice - I can certainly see why you bought them specialy Tracymae instead of raiding the canteen for boring white ones like I did.

Re: Forks at the ready.

Another great picture tracymae. I like it, particularly the coloured reflections. The forks also look like they could be slowly melting. p

Re: Forks at the ready.

Really like this too. I didn't realise plastic forks could be bought in these colours!

Re: Forks at the ready.

There's a lot to like in this photo. I really like the use of colour.
I love the angle, with the viewer looking from the slide of the forks rather than looking down on them.
I think the reflections are also very good. The depth of field is well chosen to have some nice bokeh in the background.
The only question is the use of the background, which looks a bit yellow to me (could be my monitor ) rather than pure white (which may have brought out the colours more).

Re: Forks at the ready.

Simple but very effective idea. Really like the colours and reflections, and as someone else said, it looks like the forks are melting.
