In terms of the photo, this doesn't really do it for me. Sorry.
I love the creative idea, and the bold colours (black and red are my favourites).
However, it just looks like you went out in the back garden and put the fork in the ground and took a snap. While the red against the grass looks striking, the black handle is lost in the background bushes. Maybe a narrow depth of field, blurring the background and allowing the fork to pop out of the background, would have helped.

Good idea,and I like the red / black against the green grass, but the background hedge is off putting. Also I'm not sure if its the line of the hedge but it looks at an angle.
