First up this month and setting the standard again! I especially like the blue colour. Very nice, well done.

Re: Glass within Glass

I prefer the black and white one, although my wife prefers the colour one, they are both great shots though just with a slightly different feel.

I was going to use a light bulb as well, seems very apt considering that they are to be phased out this month but yours is so good I think I will have to think of a different subject.

Re: Glass within Glass

tracymae, your submissions to this comp have been of a consistently high standard, technically, in the amount of thinking you put behind them, and most crucially being good to look at. Another great one this month

Re: Glass within Glass

I've looked at both shots (this+ the B&W) i like this more, the strong blue and slight reddish brown work well together.

Re: Glass within Glass

Great entry Tracey. Bang on theme and apt as 100W filament bulbs are being phased out this month. But I'm sorry to say the b&w one is even better.

Re: Glass within Glass

Vary nice like the blue background, and I don't know what it is resting on, but I like the fact you can see text, just adds a little something to it. The inside glass is perfectly sharp and in focus.

Ian.

nice one Tracymae! Should be a solid entry this month.

Love the blue colors, and the details in the bulb.

For what it's worth I think this one is better than the one in 'It's not valid'.

Both great shots though
