i have a question

do you think i can i enter a photo taken with a 35mm camera? it includes exif as its recorded by the camera and attached to the photo after by a cable.

rushed into this, in fact they were telling me to stop, cant rush any faster than that, with correct composition/exposure/shutter speed etc etc etc this would work but in my hands its a dud

Thanks guys.

The lighting for the shots above was pretty simple. I set the camera up on a tripod and composed the image with the glass filling the frame. Behind the glass was a piece of black card which was positioned to fill slightly more than the frame. Behind the card was a light tent with a flash in it - the diffusion material of the tent was wider than the piece of card. This meant that the light that made it around the sides of the card was reflected off only the edges of the glass.

If you do pretty much the opposite of this setup (Bright field lighting) so the light tent material fills the frame but black card is positioned at the left / right edges, just outside of the frame, then this will produce the opposite effect (I.e. a white background with black edges on the glass).

If you're into this sort of thing then Light: Science and Magic is well worth a read.
