Car seat protector

Hi,
I've got a mamas & papas car seat with a surefix base. Can you get a car seat protector to protect the cream leather in my car from it or shall I just put a blanket under it or something?

Thanks!

Our Britax child seats had a metal 'plate' underneath that when you pulled a lever it pushed down into the seat cushion, raised the seat up and kept the seatbelt tight.
We just put folded towels underneath them.
When moving over to booster-style seats, you looked at the 'dent' in the seat foam and thought "Oooh heck"
But they always come back to perfectly normal, no lasting damage at all (cloth or leather)

We used a picnic rug, but they can cost as much as that Lindam protector if you haven't got one (ie rug) already...

Popped into tesco for some snacks for the hospital tomorrow and they had one in stock there (the Lindam one). Looks fine for a tenner and I'm sure the pockets on the front will come in handy. There's a section that folds up round the back of the seat as well to protect all the bolsters. Have to wait and see how it holds up but it seems pretty tough.

Cheers

Those pockets look like a form of torture.
Poor kid constantly straining to reach a cup of juice it hasn't a hope of getting.

I just use a folded up towel. Extra useful for any unforeseen spillages in the future - or puke!

we used a towel at first but then the Mrs bought a *proper* one, can't remember it's name but it sounds like you know what you are looking for now
