Funny things that your kids say!

Are there any funny phrases that your kids come out with that make you laugh?

Just to kick things off.

My 3 year old always tells me with such enthusiasm “Daddy daddy, poo is really hard for me” while he’s having a number 2. It always brings a smile to my face.

Re: Funny things that your kids say!

I know a young lad who was on the phone to his grandma, when she asked what he was up to, he answered "I'm on the phone".

My daughter will come to me first thing in the morning (usually while i'm still asleep, tap me on the face) and say, "Daddy, i've done a big poo.....it stinks!"

What a way to start a day.

Re: Funny things that your kids say!

A cat had been killed by a car on our road and the body was laying by the side (still in good nick). So as not to upset my 3 year old at the time (we have cats), I said, "look, that cats having a little nap." To which she replied, "No, it's dead".

Re: Funny things that your kids say!

When describing how one of his friends got out of a close scrape, my son said "Wow, he must have eyes in the back of his forehead".

Ten years later and it's become a family catchphrase.

Re: Funny things that your kids say!

Ha ha ha, there are some good ones there......

My 3 year old called me a "gay lord" the other day. This was because I said he couldn't have a new Ben 10 toy.

I had to have words with his older sister about that one!

My 3 year old daughter shouted "the referee's a macker" during a game on tv one day.
I couldn't help but laugh.
She heard the fans BTW, not me.

Re: Funny things that your kids say!

Not having any children myself (Cos they put sticky stuff in your bluray/CD/DVD player!) I've heard the local teenagers on passing talking about stuff being Nang or Buff?

Why o why don't they use proper words like Poxy or Supersonic like we did a kids!

Our 6 yr old daughter was reaching for a toy in the paddling pool and accidentally fell in fully clothed.

She ran in dripping wet crying "I've just fell in the paddling pool for no reason!"

So funny at the time.

A story from my other half!

She was out shopping and got talking to some elderly ladies. They were goo-ing over my son and as they said bye to Bailey, he replied “bye willy”

I thought that was hilarious

Re: Funny things that your kids say!

My 2 year runs into our bedroom on the weekend mornings and shouts at me "Get up Meathead". We've no idea where he got that one from!

He has named his unborn sister Mio. Its not the name we are going with but I'm pretty certain its the nickname I'm going to be calling her!

Sometime ago Jack fell off the sofa. Ok yep, quite funny in itself but even more so because as he fell he shouted out "Doctorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" (doctor) .

He loves the Lily Allen song Its Not Fair and he knows the chorus! One day Mrs wouldn't let him have something as he walked away he was singing "Think you're really mean, think you're really mean"..

The list goes on, he is a real chatterbox from the moment he wakes to when he goes to bed.

Re: Funny things that your kids say!

This morning my youngest son (only just 2yrs) callied me the unmentionable 4 letter 'C' word. I was bending down to kiss him before I went to work.
My wife assured me he was trying to saying 'can't see' because I'd obscured his view of CBBC.

I'm not so sure and think he's got me sussed already.

Our 6YO loves that song too.
Bit disturbing like, hearing her belt out a song about Lily Allen failing to reach orgasm.
