I noticed they've got it for £80 in the local hmv and virgin too.

Not many games stored for it though, it only has a tiny shelf tucked away at the very back of the shop

Nintendo need to get they're marketing act together, I could do a better job. I'm sure most people in the public don't even now how the GC compares to PS2 and Xbox. If they even alluded to the fact that the GC was capable of better graphics than the PS2 and was more powerful but cheaper I'm sure it'd be a seller.

Don't get me wrong I'm in it for the games not the tech specs but to the uninitiated surely this is a selling point.

Nintendo did alot of things right with the GC but it seems to have backfired on them. For instance the initial cheap price caused retailers to complain/not stock/not push GCs because they were'nt making a big enough margin on them.

Anyway why Nintendo let Rare go to microsoft god only knows. Even if they did nothing for the rest of their existance you wouldn't let microsoft (as a competitor) get hold of them!
