Re: The value of Cube!

Wonder what price they're knocking them out for?

I bought one off a friend at work a couple of weeks ago for 15 quid
incuding Mariokart. Mainly because it was one console I had completely
missed out on, never even played on one previously.

Have to say, money well spent! Been finding myself spending more time
on the Cube than I have my xbox360

Re: The value of Cube!

My younger Sister helps out in a charity shop at the weekend, recently someone bought in a boxed Gamecube with all of the accessories in very good condition, apparently they can't sell items that plug into the mains and so they normally just throw such items away, I gave her a tenner for it and became the proud owner!

It's been away for a week whilst having a modchip installed, getting it back tomorrow...can't wait

CEX are knocking them out for £22 (boxed) and £20 (unboxed) a pop respectively.

Re: The value of Cube!

I bought my Cube not long after the release of Resi4, even then I only payed £40.00 for it and it came bundled with MarioKart and a 3rd party card Crazy really.

My poor Cube is now resting in peace in the wardrobe, has no resell value so I'll just keep hold of it, who knows, might find a use for it at some point.

Funny thing is I sold my Cube component cable a few weeks ago for the equivalent of £40, strange to think a cable carries much more value than the console.

Re: The value of Cube!

I think they still have value/use despite the Wii being backwardly compatible.

My brother bought one purely to put in his car to keep his kids quiet when on long journeys........small form factor, a couple of wavebirds, cheapo cigarette socket power lead from ebay.......works a treat .

There is a modified VGA cable, from the Japanese D-terminal cable. Not all games will run through it though, i think.
