connect Gamecube with a home cinema system

connect Gamecube with a home cinema system

What cable i need to connect my gamecube with a home cinema system?Is this possible with a component cable?

Assuming you have the correct Gamecube cable then yes. Or you may have to do with the standard composite (yellow) port.

When you use a component cable with a gamecube you have to use your standard supplied AV cable for audio as there is no audio connections on the component cable. The gamecube isn't compatible with wii cables.

One minor benefit of the gamecube and wii is they don't feature 5.1 sound only pseudo 5.1 prologic 2 output. This means you only have to connect the 2 audio phonos to your home cinema system. As long as your home cinema system features prologic 2 and has a basic 2 channel audio input your sorted.
