Wow, interest in the gamecube seems to have dried up completely.

I think most Gamecube owners seem to moved on to the Wii, hence when Cube games get discussed it tends to be in the Wii forum more than in here.

Exact same thing happened to the xbox when the xbox 360 was released, I'm not so sure the PS2 will be obsolete as fast though..

Its a shame really. When you look at a forum like this and the complete lack of interest it makes the console seem totally dead yet I've still much to play on mine. Games I've bought that I haven't got round to playing yet.

I gave mine to my god son as he's not getting a Wii for quite some time.

He's loving being able to play Mario Sunshine

But once God of War Ii is out there doesn't seem too much on the horizon for the PS2 either...

The PS2 forum is pretty much dead too.

I'd say I still play on my GC more than my Wii, soooo many games to play, such little time.

Re: christ, its slim pickens here!

I found it incredibly hard to get Gamecube games in the middle of it's life cycle, I haven't actually seen a Gamecube on a shelf in a store now for well over a year.

Needless to say I don't try to get games for it anymore, gave it to my younger Cousin (and she loves it) .

Re: christ, its slim pickens here!

I just picked one up from gamestation on Saturday, only turned it on to make sure it works but all seems OK. Got double dash and metroid prime so looking forward to having a bit of cheap(ish) fun while I wait for a new 360 game to come out.
