gamecube INTEC moniter HELP needed!

My husband bought a used gamecube & controller without any cables at all. I have bought the AC adapter and AV plugs so it can now be played on the T.V. But it has a monitor attached that came with it. Can anyone tell me how to get it to work. It has 2 cables coming out and one plugs into the back of the gamecube and the small round one is just hanging there. Is it suppose to hook up to something? Please respond with very straight forward answers - because I do not understand all these letters that everyone talkes about on here. I'm afraid I'm not electronically enclined.
Thanks
Debb

Re: gamecube INTEC moniter HELP needed!

Hmm, it sounds like the small round cable that you mention must be to hook up to some sort of external power device as the monitor is clearly designed with portable gaming in mind.

The best thing to do if you're planning on playing through a normal tv set is just to remove the monitor altogether, I think they simply click onto the top of the Gamecube from memory so it shouldn't be difficult to remove.

Hopefully once the monitor is unclipped it will simply be a matter of connecting it all up to your tv set.

Hope that's helpful, will try to advise further if you're still having problems.

Oh and welcome to the forums by the way
