Pokemon games?

Anyone familiar with any of the Pokemon games available for the Cube? My yopungest daughter is "into" Pokemon at the moment, but the reviews I've read seem to emphasise the the ability to use GBA to import/export Pokemon. Are any of the games any good as standalone Cube games?

Re: Pokemon games?

I believe XD follows on from Colloseum. I think that both can be played standalone. I'll check with my daughter when she's free (I'm not allowed to ask questions whilst she's in the middle of a game).

Thumbs up Re: Pokemon games?

OK, here's a quick summary of my daughter's Pokemon GC games and her views:

Pokemon Colloseum
Can be played OK standalone
Pokemon Box
This came with Colloseum (don't know if it's always bundled). Apparently not much point to it without the GBA.
Pokemon Channel
Works standalone (but it's not as good as Colloseum/XD apparently)
Pokemon XD
As Colloseum. Apparently it's a different story so you don't have to play Colloseum first, but the story does follow on from Colloseum in some sense.
