hi guys, i have a ps2 and a gamecube, my tv accepts an RGB input.

is it that much better than component? also my tv only has 1 rgb input so i'd have to swap the cables around everytime. is there a solution to this? (Short of buying another telly_

As far as the Cube goes, component will give a marginally better picture than RGB on most TVs; if you've got either an NTSC Cube, or a PAL Cube with Freeloader and NTSC games, then many of the games will be progressive scan compatible, and that will give a significant improvement.

If you don't already have a component cable for your Cube, then good hunting, as they're very hard to find (never released officially in this country), and you'll need to make sure that your Cube has a digital out socket.

If you stay with RGB, then the best thing to do is buy a SCART fully wired switching box. Argos used to do a surprisingly good one, and I think that this is its successor.
