Gamecube Plus Three Games

Hi,

I was originally going to buy a gamecube and 2 games, but the price drop now means I can buy 3 games.

If you were to choose 3 games to buy with the system what would they be? I'm going to go for the following, unless I can be persuaded otherwise:

1. Luigi's Mansion to play with my 4 year old daughter and intoduce her to the wonderful world of video games.

2. Rogue Leader because it's Star Wars, it looks great, and by most accounts plays fairly well.

3. Super Monkey Ball for pure gameplay.

Waverace is next on my list. There's just too much good stuff at launch and soon after. I need a footie game as well.

Just ordered my cube from Jungle, with Rogue Squadron, scart cable, official memory card, extra controller all delivered next friday between 6-9pm, priced £196.96!! Not a bad deal! Then I went to Play.com and ordered Super MonkeyBall for £32.99! All in all I'm really happy!! Resident Evil will be next!

I have gone for:

ISS2 - I'm a sucker for a football game
Luigis Mansion - something to get in to
Super Monkey Ball - had this on import and it's awesome

Wave Race would be next on my list and then a wait for Resident Evil. I had Rogue Squadron on import and while it looked the business, I didn't rate the game.

Personally, I would only rent Rogue Leader as the gameplay is very samey all the way through. It just lacks the satisfaction that the original atari arcade title has. I find it quite tedious after about the 3rd mission.
I think it looked better in stills than it does moving too.
The sound is great though if you have it loud. Especially if you're a sucker for the Star Wars universe. (Original that is - not the new rubbish)

It's bound to be one of the first to appear second hand as well but an awful lot of people love it so what do I know, eh.
