Ripping Games

Hiya,

I'm not talking about illegaly or anything like that, but you know how some people have media servers and rip their films to them and then stream to multiple devices, I was just thinking if this will ever come to gaming, in as easy a way as it currently is for films....

So you rip a game to a media server or locally to the console and play back from there.

I think this is illegal in itself as you are still making copies?

In the United Kingdom, making a private copy of copyrighted media without the copyright owner's consent is currently illegal,[13][14] but the UK government's new Digital Economy Act is likely to make copying of CDs for personal use legal.[15] According to one survey, 59% of British consumers believed ripping a CD to be legal, and 55% admitted to doing it.

I believe it's legal in the states , so getting a conviction to hold could be tricky
