Gamecube and Z-680 speakers

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect a Gamecube to the Logitech Z-680 speakers for surround sound and if so how?

What connections does the Logitech system have? What cable are you using to connect your GC to your TV?

If it has analogue stereo inputs (red and white) then you can connect the gamecube using that

It's a bit trickier than that but I won't say any more until I know what cables you're using (no point typing out 5 or 6 possible answers when only one is relevant )

The Z-680 has the following inputs
1 x digital optical
1 x digital coaxial
1 x 6-channel direct (3 stereo-mini connectors)
1 x Analog stereo-mini

A picture of the first 3 connections can be found at

and the analog mini-jack at
