| Re: Disney to Aquire Marvel
I don't think it'll be too bad for the games side of things, aside from wolverine which was pretty good and marvel UA there aren't any games in recent memory which were worth being bothered about. When existing licenses are expired, future games will probably be published by disney games
My main concern is for the film side of things, marvel films were taking back all their licenced characters in house to try and build a cohesive universe using top talent, iron man was the first one and that worked well and apparently the sequel will more or less lead into an avengers movie (as will the upcoming captain america and thor films presumably), maybe even ed norton will show up as bruce banner / hulk. Disney don't have a history of treating their properties with much respect - hence dozens of crappy straight to dvd sequels to their hit cinematic films.
Then again, being bought by disney hasn't hurt pixar so far so if marvel are left to their own devices and just get help where needed from disney then it could work out well.
