Can anyone recomend a free HTML editor for the missus ??

Hello,

My missus is wanting to start her vbery own simple website.
It only needs a gallery page, contact page, links page etc etc.

So instead of me teaching her basic HTML, does anyone know a good free HTML editor?

She wants it to look classy but without much substance, just so she can showoff her range ofChristmas Cards and Wine Charms.

Or anyone know of somewhere where i can downlaod her a template website that she can configure??

Ta for any help

Re: Can anyone recomend a free HTML editor for the missus ??

Are you looking for software to build one, or a ready done one you can customise?

For software, NVU is meant to be good for creating and editing pages

For ready done, Joomla, Mambo etc. are meant to be good, they need hosting etc. though

I have one I built for my website with gallery etc. If you drop me a pm I'll send a link to a demo site

Andrew

How about Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005? It is available for free registration, and contains a "FrontPage" like environment for designing, editing and viewing web pages, with lots of helpful features, such as HTML syntax checking. It's available as a free download here:
