Re: Convert DVD to iPod ?
First of all you will need to load the DVD into a DVD authoring program and split the files up by creating individual chapters. This can be done in Nero if you already have it, or I would think other burning programs will do the same. If not try downloading the free 30 day trial of Ulead DVD MovieFactory and you can buy it for around £30 if you want to keep it.
The above will only work if there is no copy protection on the DVD. If it is a comercially bought DVD then the copy protection will need to be removed first with the likes of DVDShrink (you will need to Google this as we are not allowed to link to it or explain how to do it).
Once you have the individual tracks you just need to find a program you like the look of to 'convert DVD to iPod' (this search brought up loads of options for me in Google).
There are step by step guides for this on videohelp.com
Mark.
