How do we make it more obvious to posters without knowledge of what OLED is that this section isn't for discussion of LED lit LCD.

I know there is a read first sticky, but we all know that few people read stickies before posting. Do we need a bright red type sticky saying **STOP!! READ THIS FIRST IF YOU'RE ABOUT TO POST ABOUT LED TELEVISIONS** or a little popup info box when people go to post or even a change in the section name to something like OLED and FLCD Televisions (NOT LED lit LCD).

As "LED" sets become more popular I can only see this getting worse as understandably unless people are aware of OLED technology they will get them confused.

The short answer is - there is no technique available that will reliably achieve what you want. Which is where I, as Moderator, come in.......

You're probably right, keep up the good work of what can be a thankless repetitive task.

I noticed the LED post from yesterday seems to have gone. Are they being moved now to the LCD section as they are posted? Probably the best idea if it's possible

Here's to the future when OLED becomes finally mainstream and the OLED posts outweigh the LED

I'm on holiday ATM so my web access is intermittent. Normally I'd get them within 24 hours and, yes, I do move them to LCDs.

As lv said stickies or text at the top of the forum doesn't work.

No one reads them

Best way is tell them yourself, or a mod will.

I wonder how many people have bought a nice "led" tv and still unaware that it's an lcd in fancy clothing
