Do you want to buy or see an OLED tv?

Just information:

Currys is opening a Megastore in Lakeside retail park (West Thurrock) on the 26th of November. There will be a 106" plasma and OLED tv's (small ones) on display.

I just thought the tech fans would like to know.
This Currys is meant to be the biggest in the UK and 3rd biggest in Europe (100,000 sqft).

Is this good news? OR

The only OLEDS to reach the general market as far as I know are some very small screen Sonys. Not widely available and very expensive. I cannot imagine many people rushing to buy an 11" set for 2499 US dollars which is the current price on the Sony USA website.

I've got an oled screen, although it's tiny, it's one found on a sony media player, and I'll be honest I can't wait til oled tvs become mainstream.

Bad news. There is currently no stock availbale for the Panasonic 103", OLED or the Panasonic V10.

But the Panasonic Z1 should be on display.

Only want to see an OLED or SED when they're sensible size (42"+) and reasonably affordable.

Till then I'll wait.

Anyone travelling through Heathrow Terminal 5 can head to the Sony Centre to check out the OLED tv.
