Which TV services do you use in your home?

Which TV services do you use in your home?
We have allowed multiple choices in case you have more than one.
I'll kick it off with Freeview in the kitchen, Sky+ in the family room, Standard Sky in my office and Terrestrial TV in the other rooms.

Re: Which TV services do you use in your home?

I only look at More4, Channel 4, and BBC News on Freeview from time to time. TV channels give you so many reasons not to bother watching, especially if you're an AV enthusiast. So I've got no desire to pay more money than I have to for broadcast TV.

Re: Which TV services do you use in your home?

Freeview in lounge, cinema room, one bedroom and garden room. Freesat (inc HD) in cinema room. Refuse to pay Sky subs at the current prices when theres so much free TV out there. Also have a large DVD/BRD/HD-DVD collection, so I have plenty of viewing material.

Re: Which TV services do you use in your home?

I use Freeview but plan to get Freesat. Without Sport (which I don't watch) or Movies (I buy plenty of discs) there's not enough left to warrant the high Sky prices. There's also enough for free anyway.

What do the percentages mean? They add up to 203.6%.

Also how do I vote twice or more for a service? I have 3 LCD's running on Freeview, (kitchen, bedroom, study). One LCD on VM+HD but with Freeview facility(lounge), and a standard VM box on widescreen CRT (Student Sons bedroom)

Re: Which TV services do you use in your home?

Just freeview for me. Did have XL V+ but ditched it as the only plus it had (for me) was UK Gold, Paramount & TCM.... And there's only so many times you can watch endless reruns of Vicar of Dibley & MASH

Don't really miss TCM as still got Film4 ... and a lot of dvds, blurays & hddvds

Since it's a multiple choice poll, the percentage for each option shows what percentage of people who voted have chosen that option.

Nothing at all. My feed comes in via cable, but I'm not subscribed, so only have the 5 normals channel (and on a 13 inch TV!).

This may change very soon.

In both living room & Bedroom:
Freeview
Freesat (Ancient Sky box, mainly used for S4C, occasionally for radio and World Movies!)
Canal Ditigaal. The Dutch equivalent of Freesat on Astra at 19 east.
+ FTA motorized satellite RX for trawling around the skies.
