What size is your biggest tv/projected image?

How big is yours? Remember that the size of the image is usually quoted as the distance from one corner to the opposite.

Re: What size is your biggest tv/projected image?

Also a 40 - not that I'm nervous about only being in the second bracket, but surely a 40 is in a different league to a 32 - should it not be 27-36 as the second bracket, and 37-49 for the third, to get a better set of results for this (I also have a projector kicking about in a box somewhere, and an 8 foot motorised screen in the loft, but they don't really count!!)

Re: What size is your biggest tv/projected image?

150" projected image. Wish I could get it bigger, but the image fills up almost the entire wall, so I can't get a screen that is much bigger to make it work.

Went from a 32 inch Toshiba to a 46 inch Sharp. Two weeks on and I want something bigger again. You get used to the size too quickly.

You shouldn't feel inadequte, We all know it's not the size that matters but what you do with it.

I've only just upgraded my tv to 42" in the past 12 months untill then I had a 32" widescreen. That was the biggest screen I had, then the parents got me a infocus pj as a present 2 years ago.
That was when I was bitten buy the home cinema bug, and it's taken all my spare cash since

agreed. whoever started the poll messed up the catagories. I have a 40" tv myself but would class that in the same bracket as a 42" tv rather than a 32".

anything 40 inches or below is way too small in this day and age

Especially as they are all measured differently anyway - maybe we should get people to start measuring their "visible screen area" with a tape measure

Amazing how quick you get used to a bigger size isn't it, when I bought my first plasma I went from a 32" crt to a 37" pv500 thinking that any bigger would over power the room. Now I've upraded again to 50" and a week later and the only time I notice the size is when I go round other houses and think god that looks small

Using a 100" dia screen with a HD72i mainly for movies and racing/sports games and looks good but with the way prices are coming down on 1080p PJ's it is very tempting
