Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

I have more than one phone provider...

O2 & Vodafone, as you can pretty much guarentee that one, other, or both will work anywhere in the country.

Can't be bothered with any of the other SPs... their just not worth it.

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

Currently on Orange, I got a SE K800i 100 any time minutes and 200 txts for £4.97 inc.VAT a month, which isnt a bad deal really. That was the offer they made when i called to cancel my previous contract.

T-Mobile for me. I've been with them for years and have thought about switching in the past, although the tariffs have never been any better than what I am on currently.

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

I'm on Orange PAYG. I temporarily changed over to a T-Mobile 'Mix-It' contract about 3 years ago but cancelled after a year when it became apparent that it was an absolute rip-off given you had to pay £14.99 a month and top-up with PAYG credit.

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

I switched to 02 from three, better coverage and one main reason i chose 02 over all the rest 0800,0845 and 0870 are in your inclusive minutes all other networks charge you sometimes up to 25p min and from a landline 0870 is 8p-10p a min. So when i rang sky the other day on the phone for 50 mins would have cost £5!!! .Only used 50 out of my 600 inclusive mins.

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

Put myself down as Voda contract but also have a 3 contract, due to an offer I couldn't refuse. Keep phone (V3X), 12 month contract, 10 months completely free, then free upgrade.

T-Mobile for me....

£42.50 a month, 18 month contract includes:

£180 off every phone bill (i.e I never pay over my line rental, works out 1,800 texts a month, if desired! )

Unlimited HSDPA access. (Basically Broadband on my phone!)

Free Nokia N95.

Quality deal in my eyes!

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

I have 2 contracts i have a few month left on 3 contract which im happy with 3 nice have all remaining mins, texts etc: on handset when needed and internet usage is decent priced aswell as tarriffs and get good signal most places.

I voted T-mobile as its my latest contract i have flext 35 with web 'n' walk £42.50 pm on 12 month contract and got a N95 for £50 which im happy with all round though my 3 handset appears have more coverage (based on network not phone btw) but 3 dont have the N95 yet and with T-mobile having it and the only other provider with a decent internet tarriff i joined them

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

O2 PAYG

Old, now expired deal (through UCAS, university admissions service) where I top up £10 and get 1000 text p/m. The £10 I spend on calls, with 25% saved through a bolt on and 3min+ p/d means cheaper

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

Got the o2 phone last December from Dial a **** ..
£30 per month. 18month contract.
600min inc
100 txt inc
phone S-E W810
headset
memory card
+
an XBOX 360

Figured that I spend more than that anyway per month, so a free Xbox was a nice touch.

The company were muppets & rubbish to deal with... but you're billed by O2 anyway once all has been delivered.

Orange contract - have done for the last 10 years.

550 anytime cross network minutes, unlimited texts, and 15 photo messages for £35/pm. I use about 1000 texts on average, so i think it's well worth it. I did look around when i started my last contract, but didn't see anything worth changing for.

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

Im with orange contract and my deal is £20 quid a month for 3000 texts, no call time. I got this contract 2 and a half years ago as I wasnt making very many, if any calls at all, but I text like a fiend!! Anyways, my contract is due for renewal and I'm gonna go for the one I found for my g/f (she's a heavy texter and caller). It's the 'Dolphin' package, 600 mins a month (rolls over for one month) and unlimited texts, she has the k800i, but Im gonna stick some money towards my 'Dolphin' so I can get a N95. Oh by the way, the dolphin contract is 35 quid a month

PS: I use about 2500 texts a month of my 3000. Ive went over it once

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

Coporate phone is on Vodaphone, no line rental, free handsets, free calls to other vodaphone mobiles and dont know the per minute costs but the rest are peanuts

Personal phone is on T-Mobile, Vario II (free) £22.50 a month for unlimited net on 3G and some silly amount of calls/ texts that i have never managed to use up.

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

Took out a contract with 3 in April, their 3G coverage is excellent I think and quite surprised me. Also, the contract isn't bad either!

The E65 and X-Series swung it for me (i.e. unlimited browsing).

So far so good!

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

I was on Orange prepay for ages (great deal) - but they cancelled prepay and then messed me about so much I got about 3 years for not a lot at all (cock ups every year - mis-sell (on tape) etc.

I have a Company deal on BT Mobile but all the family are on Tesco PAYG. For low usage it's a good deal and came with decent KE K310i phones for about £30 after the mandatory £20 topup was deducted from the package cost.

Orange contract, Nokia 6280. 500 text/talk for 25 quid. Looking to re-negotiate as free Internet via phone would be a bonus, saves me getting a BT line! Does anyone use their phone + laptop much for internet? I have and it's fast but costs a bomb if don't have a package.

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

I was with O2 contract. My contract expired and the best deal I found was through a third party with Vodafone Contract. Problem was I had to have a new number as I couldn't port my number with them. So I ported it onto an Orange PAYG SIM so at least any stray calls messages to my old number will not be lost forever.

On a very, very, very old Orange contract which I've renewed every year with a new phone. It's the old Talk 60 package, so only 14.99 a month, with 60 mins per month. Not a heavy mobile phone user, so it works perfectly for me

Re: Who is your current mobile phone network provider?

My mobile is provided and payed for work (Rather large telecomms provider!)

As it is not English, I guess it shouldn't count in this poll...

Interestingly, I have never ever bought, or subscribed to a phone / contract in my life. Guess I 've been lucky that work has always done this...

Currently, I do not have a mobile phone.

Perhaps that options should be added for the other person in the UK who is lacking and/or is free of direct personal 24/7 contact
