I only go 'cos otherwise I'd get earache from my other half

There are some places that I've loved and there's even some that I intend to visit as soon as we've got our house moving sorted out.

I love going to foreign countries to see their culture/ history etc but cant be bothered with the lay on the beach type holidays (but a couple of days at the end of a holiday is fine)

Wasnt able to go on hols for financial reasons from going to university until 2 years ago or so but certainly making up for it now

With a couple of children, plus the fact that wifey works full time, a teacher for special needs, and I tend to do longer than normal hours (self employed and all that) a pool / beach type holiday is what wifey and I need. We're off later in August to one of the Canary Islands for our summer hols .

Cool Poland's lack-of-water

Well, talking about weather, I'm currently in Poland and believe that it's almost 42c in the SHADE here and people are cooking eggs on their car roofs!

NOW THAT'S HOT HOT HOT!!!!

Good job I'm near a pool, think I'll leave the PDA here and retire to the lake!

Have a good en peeps in the UK, it's gonna get warmer here (I hope!)
