can anyone tell me if i purchase this software and install on 3 PC's will i be able to reinstall should i need to replace hard drive on one of those PC's or if I wanted at a later date to wipe the system and start from factory settings

As long as you have a 3 user license and the software is only ever installed on a max of 3 PC's then it can be removed & reinstalled as many times as you want.
To reactivate it you may not be able to get through the automatic online activation. If not it will give you an 0800 phone number to call. Just follow what it tells you to do on the phone and you should be able to activate with no problems, and in most cases without needing to actually talk to anybody.
