I was just wondering if anyone has taken delivery or even been informed of a realistic delivery date yet?

I pre-ordered mine on 20 October from Nokia direct and haven't heard a peep since???

As SibTiger said they're due this week, I rang Nokia Sales and was told email confirmations will be sent out and I should expect it no later than friday

Thanks for the replies, I called Nokia myself today, they told me deliveries are scheduled to start on Thursday 19th Nov....MUST BE PATIENT!!!

only seen MPD offering t-mobile and voda contracts.....

When i spoke to Nokia they said its after the pre-orders are shipped and they had not settled any agreements with any particular networks yet.

whilst some websites like MPD and expansys may be buying up the pre-order stock then offering them with networks ... so i'm really not sure

I think this is the update for the pre-production models to bring them in line with the consumer firmware.

over on the offical maemo forums they are all receiving delivery emails now with tracking (UPS)

(although not sure if they are UK orders)

Some people on maemo forums are suggesting that nokia's online shop has told them they should expect dispatch today and they should look out for an email.

Well done Nokia, keep bullshi**ing and alienating your future customers....I now remember why I haven't purchased a new Nokia phone since the first WAP 'Matrix' phone......HTC here I come....again

I've sold my current phone on ebay so ill be phoneless so really need a phone

I'm feeling the same, looking at maemo forums, people in the states have their handsets which they picked up from flagship stores. So far i'm not aware of anyone who has had thier phone delivered from an online merchant. I also sold my phone and i'm using a nokia 1208 whilst I wait. No bluetooth or infrared, no data cable to restore my contacts from pc suite, no mms and no internet.

yeah was reading the same - shocking

especially given that nokia said those who pre-ordered will get the phone first?

luckily i use OTA syncing so i'm good in regard to backups etc.
I'm gonna check out this new pre update coming on monday and if its any good i think im just gonna get one.

re aeOn... no I didn't, thank goodness. Just check with nokia tomorrow, as I had to re order the phone last month as they'd cancelled my order as there was some problem at their end.

Woo hoo, just got my email confirmation too, despite my rants earlier in the thread about cancelling I just couldn't bring myself to cancel....and now can't wait...lets just hope its not a complete let down

I did.

This has just peed me right off! My credit card company stopped the transaction due to suspected fraud. Spoke to Nokia and they said the order has been cancelled and if I want to re-order they can do but with out the discount codes!

Yup I posted my phone enquiry with Nokia on the maemo forums:

To preface: I was fortunate (now unfortunate ) enough to nab the voucher codes.

After a 15 minute wait, I managed to speak to an operator too expressing my concern over having my order cancelled too due to my card being declined (which I'm certain that isn't the case, my card has been active and working). He was extremely adamant, and very quick change his tone to a seemingly hostile one even though I was nothing but calm - basically saying that I had to re-order on the website, that my original order cannot be revived and that any/all discount vouchers are invalid.

I'm convinced that this'd been sneaky deceitful play on their part and I'm guessing it's been the same for others who used the codes too?

I ALMOST had it lol. And aidey6 (I'm assuming you used the codes), I think you and others who had to have theirs re-ordered a few weeks back were fortunate enough to get away with the codes right? (albeit unstacked discount codes).

I got the email, as did one of my mates and at least 10 other people (some on Twitter right now too)

Strange thing is, me AND my friend both went through to an Irish sounding fella called Chris at Nokia CS.
