N95 Screen Replacement problems with Tomtom

Hello there.

The other day i cracked my N95 screen. So i went on to ebay bought a replacement for £8 including screwdriver and replaced it. Took 2 minutes and all is well!!!

Its maybe not as colourfull as the original, but for £8 its tiptop.

The only problem i have is with Tomtom!
Tomtom loads, and you can see the Tomtom logo
but after that the screen goes all gibberish!

When i hold down the menu button on the left, where you get standby and any open applications, you can see what is meant to be on the screen in the back ground, but as soon as you choose Tomtom it goes back to gibberish!

Ive reseated the screen, but thats fine as movies and photos arent affected, just Tomtom. Ive reinstalled Tomtom but that doesnt work.

Do any you guys know what the specs are of an original N95 screen compared to the one i got from ebay?

How much a genuine screen would cost? ( im a bit wary buying a 'Genuine' ebay one.)

Thanks in advance.

If you have a legal copy of tomtom try them: TomTom, portable GPS car navigation systems - Support home

I suspect its just the app, its either not installed properly or some other 'setting' within it.
