The beta version of the excellent Opera browser is out there in the open to start using. Haven't come across any major bugs yet, the UI is a dream. I'd advise anyone with a Nokia to give it a go - it's free after all!

It does look kinda nice, however I've noticed that it loads some pages with overlapping sections.

Anyone know how to add your bookmarks to the quick launch buttons? All I see is history as an option. It would also have been nice if it updated my old version, so that I didn't have to create all the bookmarks again.

no bookmark sync is a bit of a downer hopefully that will be fixed very soon.

With the overlapping sections have you tried setting image quality to high? It changes the page layout for me, though not to a desktop browser quality. It's always going to be a bit out with the browser overriding the paragraph width to fit screen width.

Lack of a bookmark import function is a pain but you expect these niggles with beta software. When you have populated, actually getting to the page containing them feels too many 'clicks' IMO.

@sleeky have there been any patches or new bits of functionality in the time you've been using this?

Sorry didn't think to check it had compatibility across the board prior to posting, n82 should run any s60v3 version if such a thing exists .

Has anyone noticed, when typing a space it sometimes puts in one or two extra?
This may be my phone (Nokia E63) as I've not had it long, but only just noticed it in Opera and not in any other app.
