I received a text message, just a std sms, from a mate and the phone suddenly started playing Miserlou (Pulp fiction theme tune) through the loud speaker, nothing was showing as running or playing and i had to turn the phone off to stop it. Ive looked through the phone and i can't even find that song being on it!!

Any ideas?

Did you buy the phone from new ? and was it def a std message not a mms as sounds like it was an mms with that tune as the sound file ?

No it was a friends phone but ive reinstalled the firmware since ive got it and i checked for the file. The message was def a sms and the music player says no songs in the last played section. Bit concerned ive got a virus or something on it!

Best thing to do is back up the important stuff and then go on the nokia website and update the sw if its available. If you already have the latest sw then connect phone to computer and wipe the phone memory clean and then factory reset.

You can hard rest by *#7370# as well

After that put all ur stuff back on
