Nokia 5800 Unlocked on Vodafone?

Nokia 5800 Unlocked on Vodafone?
Hi all,

I am currently serving overseas in Cyprus and I am after buying a nokia 5800. Obviously it needs to be sim free to work on the cypriot networks.

Can somebody confirm that the Vodafone PAYG 5800 phones are indeed sim free?

I think they are locked. Even though Voda started to offer free unlocking for pay monthly ppl, the PAYG remains unlocked.
