im thinking of getting an e63 on contract with 3, any experienced with this phone?

i currently have an LG cookie on orange PAYG. Would have kept me SE k800i, brilliant phone that was. Except i lost it lol.

Got the e63 on contract with 3 last week. Its a great phone

Pros-
Looks good
Software is good
Has Wifi
Good keyboard
Nice screen
3.5mm headphone jack

Cons
Not a good camera
No HSDPA
No GPS
Didnt come with a usb cable (only £2 on ebay though)
Lacks volume buttons

If you can overlook the cons then its good. Im happy I got it.
One thing though, if you do get it make sure you get an unlimited data plan. You will want to use the net on the move with this thing.

Well the contract i saw in the store window is:
unlimited internet
300 any network minutes
unlimited texts
for £15....im sure thats what it says, surely a catch when most contracts with phones this good are a fair bit more?

The catch is that its not actually unlimited - but 1gb data and 3000 texts. They hope you go over these limits so you end up paying. Its currently an extortionate £2 per mb.

Good thing is that you can haggle with them to bring it down further. You could try and get some accessories and unlimited 3 to 3 calls thrown in too.

mmm i doubt i will use close to 3000 texts.
how much is 1gb data in terms of time or pages?

It will last a while. You might struggle to use the full 1gb unless you download more than websites.
