Use App. Manager to tell the handset which connection (or group) to use for each internet application. For the built-in browser, just set a default connection.

Re: E71 again!

In the browser, goto options and settings. you can then choose your connection method .. yours is probably set to "Always Ask" at the moment.

Re: E71 again!

Install Birdstep Smartconnect from the Ovi Store (free)

This will allow you to create prioritised Access points.

In this app you simply just create a group (for example mine is named 'Web') and add into this all your existing wi-fi/3g connections. The app will then create a new access point containing all your connections.

Then for each application on your phone that needs Web access you just specifiy the new smartconnect access point as the default connection. It will then use your wi-fi/3g conenctions in the order you specified.

Say you wanted to tell the handset which connection to use for eg. Opera Mini, you would put the highlight on Opera Mini, press options and then Open.
If the app. is a Symbian one, then set the default in the app itself.
