Nokia 5800 - probs accessing downloaded online apps & extras??

Hoping that someone can point me in the right direction

Have just bought a Nokia 5800 - all singing all dancing etc etc.. have downloaded all the software: pc suite/ovi suite & store etc quite happily and no real probs there, all running quite well!

BUT when I goto download extra apps from the ovi store online and then try to install them on the phone.. the only way I can access and use what i want is by going online thru WAP and the ovi store?? I thought the idea was to download it onto your phone and then use it as much as you like??

Can someone please tell me if theres something i havnt clicked on or allowed access to thru my phone, that i may have missed?? Getting a little tedious and slightly expensive trying to sort it out

You will have to settings and enable wifi connectivity, so you can browse through internet, download page and what not.
