What do I gain and/or lose by debranding my phone from the Three firmware to the Nokia version?
Presumably I'll get a more up to date build from Nokia and I'll lose all the Three centric menu links. Will I still be able to use the Three email and Windows Messenger services?
So far I'm happy with the phones performance and it doesn't seem to be missing any features or restricting me from doing anything. But at the same time I like to meddle, so if it's in my interest I'll upgrade.
Also, it's got lots of (mostly rubbish) games preloaded in the Installation folder. Most want to connect to Three when you run them. Do they charge for that, is it some kind of service rather then an installed app??
And lastly - it's got a dead pixel. Not that noticeable and I'm not too fussed, but if Three are easy going with swapouts I may ask for another one - worth a try or will they say no?
Thanks all!
