n64 flicker screen

Hi

i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on a problem i have.
Basically when i connect my n64 to the tv in the living room the screen seems to bounce/flicker when playing a game but when connected to an older tv upstairs it works perfectly.
I thought it may have been because its a newer tv in the living room but the snes works perfectly on both tv's!

help please!!
