super mario bros 3 on the NES question

super mario bros 3 on the NES question

guys i am playin my nes again but the only thing annoying me is the fact when i switch off the nes it loses my game info but it has always done this but the thing is that zelda has a battery in it so it remembers yours game. is there anyway to retro fit something into the nes console or the game so it will remember my game progress. any help would be great thanks :D

I don't think it's possible with the NES version, although you could use a Game Genie type device to skip each level world completely.
The Wii (Virtual Console) and SNES versions (the latter on the Super Mario All-Stars cartridge), have the option to save your game.

Yeh, thats not going to happen, you'll just have to get good and complete it in one sitting (or play on an emulator/wii/snes/GBA)
